Canon 350d
Canon which is known for digital cameras has recently introduced its CANON 350D camera with stunning features and looks and midrange digital single-lens reflex camera that out passes most of the cameras. CANON 350D is equipped with eight megapixel CMOS sensor which distinguishes it from Canon EOS 300D. CANON 350D has the new E-TTL II flash system and also has increased its image rate with the processing speed.
The CMOS technology makes the camera compact and provides outstanding image quality and 8.0 Megapixel resolutions. It has an excellent 14 frame burst performance along with instant 0.2 second start up time and has a super-fast and effective image processing. It has 7 auto focus points which gives accurate focusing, even with off-centre subjects. Due to powerful pop-up flash there is plenty of lighting flexibility and E-TTL II distance-linked flash ensure accurate flash metering. With CANON 350D you can choose to optimize JPEG images for direct printing and ultimate flexibility.
You can rapidly upload pictures and access fast picture printing with a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface and you can directly print pictures from the cam itself by pressing the ‘Direct Print’ button. Both CF and CF-II cards, including cards of over 2 GB capacities are compatible with CANON 350D. As compared to Canon 20D, this camera has a smaller body and has the new CMOS sensor and also has faster shutter release and shorter blackout time. Also in Canon 350D the image processing time has been decreased and the Compact Flash write speed has been increased. Compared to Canon 20D it is 17% lighter and weighs 485 grams without the battery and has a Matte plastic finish. The Canon 350D is available in black and silver color.
Canon 350D has a special feature of 3 frames-per-second continuous shooting and maximum 14 large JPEG images in a single burst. It is also equipped with 7-point wide area Auto focus. Canon 350D also has a 2.0 Hi-Speed USB and Video out interface with Digital Photo Professional RAW image processing software. It is compatible with all Canon EF and EF-S lenses, and Speedlite EX flashes and you can print directly without PC to PictBridge compatible photo printers and has a shutter speeds from 1/4000 to 30 seconds. Canon 350D is just 9.5cm tall, 12.5cm wide and 13.5cm deep and has a comfortable grip.
One of the features which make it a rear one is that it has two LCD display screens. One is a monochrome display for exposure information, white balance modes and quality settings, and the bottom screen displays the images taken, along with menu features while other one is to view the images and it uses Compact Flash cards expandable up to 8GB. Though Canon 350D is small in size it has good features which prove that good things come in small packets.
