Canon A700
Canon has launched many products in A series but the best among them is the A700 which is equipped with 6 megapixel lens and features which makes it a unique one in its own way. Canon A700 is small in its size but covers all amazing features like DIGIC II image processor which will enhance its image quality by a mile and also provides a larger variety of ISO settings ranging from 80 to 800. It also has Intelligent Scene Analysis based on Photographic Space technology that improves the performance of Auto Focus, Auto Exposure and Auto White Balance.
Canon A700 is powered with unique features like advanced TTL AiAF 9-point auto focus system, shutter-speed priority, Pre-programmed creative scene modes for beginners, program AE, movie mode w/sound, 640×480 / 320×240 up to 1GB, 160×120 up to 3 minutes,2.3fps continuous burst capture of Large or Fine images, evaluative metering on focus point, stitch assist mode for perfect panoramas, exposure compensation, white Balance Auto, 5 presets or custom , center-weighted or spot option facilities, orientation sensor that automatically detects vertical or horizontal shooting ,Low-light focus assist among others.
Canon A700 has a special feature of My Color. This My Color playback mode includes vivid blue, vivid green, and vivid red; lighter and darker skin tones along with black & white, sepia, neutral and positive film effects. Canon A700 is equipped to take photographs that are sharp, contrasting, and have pleasing colors at a speed of one photograph every two seconds. The Canon A700 measures 94.5 x 66.5 x 43.4mm and weighs 200 grams without the battery. It also has a metal and plastic finish which provides a better grip. Canon A700 has a 2.5" LCD with Night Display and Grid Line Display and provides better view of the photographs.
Canon A700 gets power from two AA batteries (alkaline supplied) and also has an optional AC adapter (CA-PS800). It also has a self timer feature from 2-10 seconds and has a shutter speed of 15 – 1/2000 sec, slow shutter speeds of 1.3 sec in Manual. A 32MB SD memory card is supplied with it. It supports JPEG file format and AVI type movies. It also has a high speed 2.0 USB interface and has a Real-image zoom Optical Viewfinder. Through Canon A700 you can easily download pictures by simply connecting the power shot digital camera to a SELPHY printer and downloading the pictures. You only need to keep one thing in your mind that before using this camera you need to set the date and time initially or otherwise the camera keeps on asking for the date and time.
Canon A700 is thus a very simple camera to use and user friendly also and is ready to use once after the batteries and memory card are inserted.
